New features
Outlook Email item view
August 25 · v2.130.0
A new item view for email messages associated with the email addresses in Email columns. From here you can manually select and export emails as item updates or into monday CRM's Emails & Activities feature, view email attachments, and deep link straight back to Outlook.
Updates & fixes
Getting Started screen and Secure Embed improvements
August 19 · v2.129.0
- Getting Started — improved layout & UX. We heard that people were trying to click on things that were not clickable, so we simplified the layout.
- Secure Embed — new Create new folder functionality.
- Create folder for item from templated folder in SharePoint — improvements to edge-case automation failures.
Infrastructure modernisation
August 25 · v2.130.0
Updated the underlying library used to connect to the monday.com API, migrating from monday-sdk-js to @mondaydotcomorg/api.
Open non-Office files directly in their native app
August 28 · v2.131.0
Secure Embed now adds Open in App for non-Office file types, using the desktop OneDrive app. This lets you open files in their native application directly from Microsoft 365 without downloading them first. Supported on Windows and macOS.
Missing credentials bug now surfaces instead of failing silently
August 28 · v2.131.0
Automation blocks affected by monday.com's missing credentials bug are now disabled and notify the automation/workflow owner of the exact problem. Previously, these would continue to be triggered without any notification. When this happens, we recommend the fix/workaround in the guide above, then contacting support@monday.com.
Subscription validation, API reliability, and admin consent updates
August 31 · v2.132.0–v2.134.0
- Improved app subscription validation for the automation block, for accounts that installed the app since July 2026 and don't have a valid subscription.
- Minor improvements for handling Microsoft API calls that return "404 not found".
- Updated the admin consent screen to add back the temporarily removed
Calendars.Read.Sharedscope. - Further improvements to the missing credentials change shipped in v2.131.0, above.
