Getting Started

We're delighted that you've chosen to get started with GitHub Gists Embedded for monday.com. This page will give you an overview of this app's functionality.

Installation

Simply install the app from the monday.com marketplace and then you are ready to go.

Usage

In GitHub

Browse to your Gist and copy the URL from the browser address bar.

For Board Views, Workdocs and Dashboard Widgets

  1. Add the GitHub Gists Embedded app in monday.com.
  2. Paste the URL into the GitHub Gist URL field in the widget settings.

For Item Views

  1. Create a new Text column labelled "URL" on your board.
  2. Copy and paste the Gist URL into that column for the relevant item.
  3. Open the Item Page and select Add View.
  4. Add the GitHub Gists Embedded app.
  5. In Settings, select the URL column name.
