From 2026-10-25
If your monday.com account is hosted in the EU, Australia or Israel, the app now runs in that same region, rather than only in the USA.
- Nothing to do. Your existing Microsoft 365 connection keeps working, with no need to sign in again.
- To move your connection to your region: sign out of Microsoft 365 in the app, then sign back in. Your new connection is stored in your account's region.
- Signing out of Microsoft 365, or an admin removing all connections, now takes effect everywhere your connection is stored.
- The "ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to approve the app" link now points to the right address for your region.
- Service Desk isn't available for accounts hosted in the Israel region, because that region can't run the scheduled checks Service Desk relies on. Everything else works as before.
Without careful planning, the migration to multi-region support would disrupt app operations (such as views and legacy automations) for existing customers. With that in mind, multi-region support behaves differently for new and existing customers.
For accounts who installed the app after October 25, 2026
For newer accounts, the app will only store data in the region your monday.com account is hosted.
For accounts who installed the app before October 25, 2026
If you have been using any views or embeds, prior to October 25, 2026, then your data will remain being stored in, and accessed from the US region. Any new users who authenticated against Microsoft 365 using a view will have their access tokens stored in the same region your monday.com account is hosted.
Migrating from the US region to the local region
For security reasons, we do not support a migration of users' access tokens between regions, instead we allow the complete deletion of data from the US region, which will then permit you to reauthenticate with Microsoft 365. The resulting access tokens will be stored in your local region.

Region forwarding block list
Additional, we maintain a block list which prevents any forwarding of requests from one region to another. This is account specific, and we recommend first deleting all data from the US region by revoking Microsoft 365 access for all users before blocking region forwarding.
If you would like your account added to the region forwarding blocklist, contact support.
