Where is the app hosted and by whom?
The app is hosted by monday.com on their monday code platform, which is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified, GDPR & HIPAA compliant.
It provides a secure, reliable, and scalable hosting solution to help contribute to widespread app usage. Apps hosted with monday-code are upheld to stringent enterprise-level compliance and security measures, ultimately giving large customers the confidence they need to install the app.
Does the app store any of our data?
For Share Link features, no data is stored. For other features, access tokens are stored securely within monday.com infrastructure. Files are transmitted directly from Microsoft to your browser — the app server never sees your file content.
If we stop using the app, what happens to all of the previously linked content in monday.com?
Content availability depends on the sharing settings within Microsoft 365. Content linked through the app follows your organisation's existing access controls and will not be affected by stopping use of the app.
Are there any other requirements for your app to work with our monday.com implementation and Microsoft 365?
No special requirements beyond a supported Microsoft 365 product plan and standard monday.com access.
Is all data inflight and stored encrypted within the service?
Yes. Files are transmitted directly from Microsoft to your browser using TLS encryption. The app server never sees your file content.
Is there any logging/auditing available?
No additional logging is performed by the app. Your existing Microsoft 365 audit logs remain unaffected.
What happens when the person who shared content with monday.com leaves the organisation?
Content availability is tied to the sharing settings within Microsoft 365, not to the individual user. Your organisation's existing security strategies and Microsoft 365 access controls determine what happens when a user leaves.
Do we need a particular subscription level or version of monday.com?
Standard monday.com accounts are supported. Workflows require an enterprise or professional plan.
Do we need a particular subscription level or version of Microsoft 365?

If the app is offline, how will that impact users working on monday.com?
If the app is offline, embedded content will not be accessible within monday.com. Your files remain safe in Microsoft 365 and are accessible directly from there. The app is hosted on monday code infrastructure with high availability.
Is there any protection built into the app to prevent 'bad content' someone shares?
The app relies on your organisation's existing Microsoft 365 security strategy rather than built-in content filtering. Access controls from Microsoft 365 are respected throughout.
