The picker provides the following options for selecting files:
- My Files: your files on OneDrive
- Recent: your recently viewed files
- Shared: files shared with you
- SharePoint Sites
- Search: if the site is not displayed in the list of recent sites, you can search for it
- Recent sites

Newly created SharePoint sites
When searching for newly created SharePoint sites, it takes some time for Microsoft 365 to add the site to the search index. If a newly created site cannot be found by the search, wait for 10 minutes and try again.
In practice, the same is true within SharePoint itself — newly created sites do not appear on the SharePoint home page immediately. It can take up to an hour for the site to be indexed and available in the navigation. In practice, they normally appear within the first 10 minutes of creation.
